One-Year Limited Warranty
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
Platform Robotics, Inc warrants to the original purchaser of the Softrim Personal (hereafter “Product”) manufactured by Platform Robotics, Inc that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of delivery.
This limited warranty applies only to the physical workmanship, construction, and assembly of the Product, including defects arising from improper fabrication or assembly.
2. Exclusive Warranty Remedy: Replacement Only
As a prerequisite to any warranty replacement, the purchaser must return the tool assembly to Platform Robotics, Inc together with proof of purchase and must demonstrate, to Platform Robotics, Inc’s reasonable satisfaction, the specific defect in workmanship or materials claimed to be covered by this warranty.
Upon receipt, inspection, and confirmation by Platform Robotics, Inc that the returned tool assembly contains a covered defect, Platform Robotics, Inc will provide a replacement Product or replacement component sufficient to resolve the defect, at Platform Robotics, Inc’s sole discretion.
Replacement is the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Platform Robotics, Inc shall have no obligation to repair the Product, refund the purchase price, reimburse costs, or provide any other remedy.
3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty does not cover, and Platform Robotics, Inc makes no warranty regarding:
- The performance, output, productivity, efficiency, durability, or suitability of the Product in use.
- The resulting quality of any plant material processed with the Product.
- Normal wear and tear including but not limited to wear and tear on the deleafing mats due to use of the Product.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or modification of the Product.
- Damage or defects caused by equipment, machinery, materials, components, or processes not supplied by Platform Robotics, Inc; or
4. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
Except for the express limited warranty stated in this policy, Platform Robotics, Inc disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, performance, or results.
No oral or written statement, instructions, recommendation, technical assistance, sample, test result, brochure or other communication by Platform Robotics, Inc shall create any warranty or guarantee not expressly stated in this policy.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platform Robotics, Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost production, contamination, downtime, scrap, rework, customer claims, labor costs, removal costs, installation costs, shipping costs, or costs associated with the Product or any use thereof.
Platform Robotics, Inc’s total liability for any claim relating to the tool assembly shall be limited exclusively to replacement of the covered defective tool assembly or component, as determined by Platform Robotics, Inc.
6. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact Platform Robotics, Inc in writing within the one-year warranty period and provide:
- The name, address telephone number and email address of the customer making the warranty claim;
- Physical Product or component of the Product including the defect;
- Proof of original Product purchase including purchase date and order information;
- A description of the alleged defect; and
- Any other information reasonably requested by Platform Robotics, Inc.
Failure to submit any of the required information may result in a rejection of your warranty claim.
7. Non-Transferability
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be assigned or transferred to any subsequent purchaser or other entity.
